Warehouse Line Striping
Warehouse striping is a simple way to improve efficiency in the day-to-day operations of your warehouse. Warehouse striping allows you to mark pathways and work zones, allowing for better traffic flow, consistency, and safety. Having set patterns of traffic flow and clear zones prevent injuries and accidents.
The first step in the process is etching the surface using a shot blaster. We then stripe the area with traffic paint and apply a poly coating on top to seal it. The best practice is to wait 24 hours before using vehicles inside, meaning you can reopen your warehouse quickly. Always discuss your options with your Big Apple Services sales rep.
Shot Blasting & Line Removal
If you have existing lines in a warehouse, we can remove those with shot blasting. Shot blasting is the process of using specialized equipment to shoot steel shot onto the surface at high velocity. This knocks debris and other materials off of the surface. Shot blasting minimizes mess and debris since the equipment is self-contained (it collects the steel shot).
